Happy Monday! Busy day in our NICU and our new unit is up and running. So fun to work with Amy today. She is the best and so talented! Check out her Etsy shop Rosey Chic Boutique on my blog. Wonderful lady and friend.

Came home to a very sick Border Collie. Molly is so old now but still insists on walking up the stairs. She fell today and Jeff and I don't know how long she laid there. Poor baby. Came home to a mess to clean and a very embarrassed dog. Love her so but think that we are fast approaching some end of life decisions. so sad.

Today, let me be reminded of my blessings.

Beaching It

Playing hookie today! Yes, that is right. Hubby and I are skipping work and going to beach. Been a long time since we agreed to have a date in the middle of the week so with the encouragement of our very good friends we are choosing today. I am a little freaked out about the sun and my VERY white legs but I can't imagine I will be the whitest on the beach. Although one never knows. :)

Early in the day but still the gratitude plays on in my heart. I love my life, it's challenges and chaos.

Today at 8 in the morning I am thankful for:

1. Coffee!!
2. Having taken care of my every 6 month labs and chest xray yesterday so I could enjoy the beach today.
3. Walking in faith that my labs and xray are good, clear and cancer free
4. Free time with my husband
5. Best friends.

I'm back

Hi All,

First let me say I am sorry for being so neglegent about posting. We have had so much going on in our lives the last month that frankly I haven't had time to post but never fear, I am a lurker and still have managed to read all about other peoples lives but not write about my own. :)

Baby Logan is here! Healthy, beautiful and completly wonderful. I love him, I love him, I love him!

Wedding, births, and moving all in one month makes for one tired but so very thankful lady.

Tomorrow we are "beaching" it with friends. Need the break, the sun and the laughter. Okay, and a glass of wine. There I said it!

My grateful list runneth over.

1. My husband and his ever abundant patience with me, my moods and my lack of camera skills.
2. Three beautiful grandbabies
3. Being young enough to run, play and get messy with above babies.
4. Hannah coming home for the summer ( insert happy dance here )
5. Beaching it with our friends and playing hookie on a weekday. ( okay, that was two thankful's on one line. )
